The use of light boxes on the market is becoming wider and wider, and the craftsmanship of light boxes is becoming more and more lean. Many manufacturers choose diffusers when making indoor light boxes. So what are the benefits of using diffusers?
At present, the widely used ones on the market can be divided into three types according to the material: PC diffuser, PMMA diffuser, and PS diffuser. Why are PC diffusers widely used in indoor light boxes and lamps? So what is the difference between these three profiles?
1. In terms of light efficiency: under the same haze, the light transmittance of PMMA and PS is higher than that of PC;
2. Aging: PS is the easiest to age, PMMA is the second, and PC is the best;
3. Flammability: PS is more flammable than PMMA, and PC diffuser has good flame retardancy;
4. Fragility: PS is fragile, PMMA is second, and the best is PC diffuser;
5. The PC diffuser mainly disperses the light and distributes the light evenly on the panel. PC should be more moisture resistant and UV resistant. PC diffusers are usually selected in lamps used in indoor and bathroom;
6. Antistatic performance: PC diffuser has good surface antistatic performance to prevent dust.
