When using capacitive touch screens

Apr 28, 2018

1. Since the capacitive touch screen realizes the touch function by detecting the change of the touch surface capacitance signal, it is easily interfered by the external electromagnetic environment, so the capacitive screen should be kept away from the interference source, and the interference source mainly comes from the liquid crystal screen and the power supply. During installation, it is recommended that large-size capacitive screens and LCD screens should maintain a space of 1.5mm or more. The power supply is also recommended to select a power supply with better quality to prevent the interference signals from being too strong and unable to touch properly.

 When a single TP is tested. Please test the insulating material (such as foam, etc.) on the bottom of the TP first. After moving the TP or removing the FPC during the test, you need to re-plug the USB cable to ensure normal touch.

 2. The TP is damaged due to non-standard operation. Because the back of the TP circuit is directly exposed to the outside, it is easily damaged by hard objects, so please take care of the TP. In addition, the FPC is also a relatively weak part. When folding, the intensity should be soft, and as far as possible avoid deadlock situations. ;

  3, touch effect is not ideal. The first time the sample is sent out, sometimes the touch effect is unsatisfactory. For example, when there are random jumping points, broken wires, or slow response, please do not worry because the sample is only for single TP debugging, and the difference may be relatively large , need to optimize for the whole machine.
