What is the difference between optical grade acrylic and non-optical grade acrylic?

The light guide plates on the market use acrylic as the substrate, and Kesai uses the optical grade acrylic. What is the difference between the light guide plate made of optical grade and non-optical grade acrylic?

The difference is that the reflectances of the optical grade and the non-optical grade are different, so the light guiding efficiency of the light guide plate is different, and the optical grade is about 30% higher than the non-optical.

The light guide plate uses an optical grade acrylic/PC sheet and then laser-dosed or scored on an optical grade acrylic sheet using a high-tech material with extremely high reflectivity and no light absorption. The optical grade acrylic sheet is used to absorb the light from the lamp to stay on the surface of the optical grade acrylic sheet. When the light hits the respective light guiding points, the reflected light will diffuse to various angles, and then the reflective condition is destroyed by the light guide plate. Shot from the front. The light guide plate can be uniformly illuminated by various light guiding points of different sizes and sizes. The purpose of the reflective sheet is to reflect the light exposed from the bottom surface back into the light guide plate to improve the efficiency of light use.
