The structure of backlight panel

1.Light guide panel (LGP)

Light guide plate(LGP) is a transmission medium of light.It takes the brand-new optical grade PMMA as base material,adopts the most advanced 3D laser processing and engraving processing technology.
LGP is a kind of high-tech product that takes advantage of light effects,such as refraction,reflection and diffuse reflection,formed by side light source between lines or dots and turn spot light source or
line light source into panel light source.LGP is key factors to determine the quality and service life of led backlight panel.
Main material of LGP :PMMA,MS,PS . The regualr thickness:2MM;3MM;4MM;6MM
2.Diffuser panel

The aim of diffuser is plate to export uniformly the light of LGP, and also to shade the LGP dots. Main material of diffusor plate: PC, PMMA, PS .
The regualr thickness: 1mm;1.2mm;1.5mm;2mm.
3.White reflective film

The function of the reflective film is to reflect the light leaking through the light guide plate back to the panel side.
Thereby achieving a reduction in light loss.The main material of reflective paper :PET+coating The regualr thickness: 0.188mm;0.225mm
4.LED light source
LEDs come in a variety of sizes and brands. Sanan is our qualified supplier for a standard Panel light. But RINA TECH can supply some other suppliers

The size 3014 and 2835 are very popular in the market for Led panel light production. LEDs in the same size from different brands show different optical parameters.
We choose the ideal LEDs for Panel light according to the light design and optical requirement. A high CRI and light efficiency LEDs obviously will improve the whole Panel light's
optical performance under the same light design. A back-lit Led Panel light usually take 2835 for the light source, but 3014 will be a good choice for an edge-lit panel light.
5.Frame &Backplate
The frame is for the appearance and also for the heat dissipation. RINA TECH offers mainly the extruded aluminum(AL6063) frame for Panel light,
which is the most common material for Panel light production in the market. There are also stamping aluminum and die-cast aluminum for
making the panel light frame. Die-cast aluminum is mainly used to making the panel lights that have a seamless profile in small sizes.
The back plate is to seal the whole Panel light and help also the heat dissipation. Therefore, it’s very common to use metal material to
produce a back plate such as 1060 aluminum, iron or aluminum composite plate. 1060 aluminum is the ideal material. We recommend that the thickness of the back plate should
arrive at least 1mm for a good sealing and heat dissipation.
6.LED driver
The quality and price of the LED panel light drive power supply depend on the brand, voltage, isolation (isolation is safer), non-isolation,
whether it is stroboscopic (it will affect whether the light of the lamp is stroboscopic when taking pictures under the mobile phone), functional requirements (such as dimming
and color grading) and certification requirements will vary.
What is the difference between edge-lit and back-lit LED panel lights?
Edge-lit led panel light

Edge-lit light panels are placed on the Edge of the frame. The light that emits is guarded by a light guard panel that directs it sideways.
The light board is designed for the smooth and evenly distribution of light in a given space. The sleek look of the diffusers is a result of the small depth of the panel.
Back-lit LED panel lights
A back-lit LED panel is made of an array of LEDs fitted on a horizontal plate shining vertically down through a diffuser into the space to be illuminated.
Back-lit panels are sometimes also known as direct-type panels.

What are the common quality issues of led panel light?
1. Dark areas appear around the panel lights
This phenomenon generally occurs in side-emitting panel lights, because the thickness of the light guide plate is not enough, please replace the thicker light guide plate such as 2.0T, and 3.0T.
2. Yellow light appears around the panel light frame
This also often occurs in side-emitting panel lights, because the distance between the light guide plate and the side lamp beads is too close during the production process.
The distance between the lamp beads and the light guide plate needs to be adjusted. Of course, it may also be the quality problem of the LED lamp bead itself, which needs to be
replaced with a better-LED lamp bead.
3. The middle part of the panel light turns yellow
This is one of the main aspects of the current quality problems of side-emitting panel lights.
1.Yellowing caused by changes in the material of the light guide plate itself
2.Yellowing caused by abnormalities in the LED chip (mainly phosphor problems).
3.The external environment causes the stains attached to the light guide to penetrate into the interior of the light guide, causing yellowing.
4. Water ripples appear
The reflective film in the side-emitting panel light is generally made of PET material, and some low-end suppliers often use foam reflective film to reduce costs,
which will deform during prolonged heating. resulting in the appearance of water ripples.
5. LED panel lights flicker
The main reasons for flickering are as follows:
The power supply is broken;
The power supply does not match the current and power parameters of the lamp bead,
The lamp bead is damaged
How to istall LED backlight panel?
Totally 4 different installation ways for led ceiling panel light as follows:
Recessed led panel lights
This installation method is often used in offices, shops, kitchens, and bathrooms, etc. It is also the most common installation method.
First, remove a ceiling, put the LED panel light driver on the ceiling next to it, then connect the power cord, and then put it on Panel lights are sufficient, and the installation method is relatively simple.
Suspension flat panel led light
You need to prepare a set of steel ropes first, Hang the lighting from the ceiling with steel ropes. First fix the 4 hanging wire bases on the lighting fixture
on the roof, then tie the 4 hanging wires to the LED panel light, connect the light’s driving power cord, and pull the wire to adjust the height of the panel light. The installation method is more flexible
Surface-mounted led panel light
Use screws to fix 3sides of the frame onto proof, then connect the led driver, insert the Led light panels into frames, and finally, screw the last frame.
