The difference between the light bar on the side of the light guide plate and the light bar after milling
Feb 02, 2022
The light input surface of the light guide plate is in the form of sticking light strips, and the common methods of sticking light strips are side sticking and sticking light strips after milling. So what is the difference between the two?
1. Process
The process of sticking the light bar on the side is relatively simple, just stick the light bar on the side of the light guide plate, while the groove milling is to mill the groove on the light guide plate by a machine, and the process is more complicated than the former.
2. Transmittance
The light transmittance of the light bar on the side is higher than that after milling.
3. Aesthetics
The appearance of the light guide plate after milling the groove is higher than that of the light guide plate with the light bar on the side. After the light bar is pasted on the side, it needs to be pasted with tape. After the groove is milled, the light bar only needs to be pasted in the groove, and there is no need to paste it again. Secure with tape.
