Light guide plate processing test specification

First, cutting

    The square nano light guide plate can be cut at will. The cutting tool can generally be used for a woodworking saw blade machine, a general engraving machine, a laser engraving machine, etc., wherein the laser engraving machine performs the best cutting and guiding effect.

Second, polishing

    Plates processed with a laser engraving machine do not need to be polished. Sheets processed with woodworking saw blades and ordinary engraving machines require slitting and polishing.

    Step 1: Use a utility knife to level the incision, scrape off the debris left during cutting, and smooth the saw marks.

    Step 2: Polish the slit with a polisher or flame gun, requiring the slit to be smooth and flat without obvious ripples or saw marks.

Third, the test

    Step 1: Place the tube on both sides of the light guide plate, wrap the tube with a silver-plated reflective film (or reflective paper) and stick it with double-sided tape.

    Step 2: Seal the other edges of the light guide plate with silver-plated tape.

    Step 3: Place the light guide plate on the flat reflective paper; connect the lamp power supply and preheat it for about 10 minutes (the effect is better).

    Step 4: The light guide brightness and uniformity of the light guide plate can be seen by the naked eye or the illuminance meter.

Precautions

    1. The light guide plate should maintain the integrity of the wrapping paper during cutting and polishing to avoid scratches.

    2. When the light guide plate is polished, the incision such as residual debris or dust may affect the light guiding effect.

    3. The back reflective paper is packaged as a whole with the lamp tube, and the light guiding effect is better.

    4. The length of the light guide plate on the side of the lamp tube is preferably equal to or slightly longer than the length of the lamp tube; if the lamp tube is significantly shorter than the light guide plate during the test, the exposed portion is also sealed with silver-plated tape.

    5. It is recommended to use a genuine light source when testing; the brightness and color of the light source will also affect the light guiding effect.

    6. Directly use the naked eye to determine the brightness of the light guide of the square 晟 light guide plate will produce a large deviation. Because the raw material of the square ray guide plate is imported fine material MMA, the plate is colorless and transparent, and there is no background color when illuminating. The naked eye cannot directly sense its true brightness. It is recommended to use the illuminometer to test or put the light box piece to judge its brightness.

    7. Test with illuminance meter, it is recommended to leave the light guide plate 3-5CM.
