For the backlight module factory, the main difference in the structure of the LED backlight module lies in the change of the light guide plate. When using CCFL, due to the limitation of the tube diameter of 1.8mm~4mm, the light guide plate must be maintained at about 2.0mm on the light entrance side, and it becomes a wedge-shaped board, which makes it impossible for the notebook computer panel to be very thin; however, using LEDs When used as a backlight, the original thickness limit of the light guide plate no longer exists, and the entire light guide plate can be made uniform and thinner, so it can meet the laptop's pursuit of lightness, thinness and shortness.
Therefore, most of the current notebook computers have adopted LED backlights.
