How to distinguish between light guide plate and diffuser plate?

The panel light diffuser refers to the scattering phenomenon caused by the light passing through other media in the forward process. As long as the light from two different media goes from A to B, it will cause light penetration or reflection due to the obstruction of refractive index or interfering substances. The absorption and penetration part will cause the so-called light diffusion due to dispersion, which has three physical phenomena.
The panel light guide plate is made of optical-grade acrylic/PC sheet, and then uses high-tech materials with extremely high reflectivity and no light absorption to print the light guide on the bottom surface of the optical-grade acrylic sheet with UV screen printing technology point. The optical-grade acrylic sheet is used to absorb the light emitted from the lamp and stay on the surface of the optical-grade acrylic sheet. When the light hits each light guide point, the reflected light will spread to all angles, and then destroy the reflection conditions by the light guide plate. Shot from the front. Through various light guide points of different density and size, the light guide plate can be made to emit light uniformly. The purpose of the reflection sheet is to reflect the light exposed on the bottom surface back into the light guide plate to improve the use efficiency of light. Functional differences:
The main functions of the Led diffuser are:
1. Disperse the luminous flux and distribute the light evenly (some composite diffusers can control the exit angle in addition to homogenizing the light)
2. Support the backlight structure to protect the underlying optical material from damage
The main functions of the light guide plate are:
1. The luminous flux of the LED panel light point light source is evenly distributed in the entire surface. Its key role is to guide the distribution of light.
2. Use the reflection mechanism to utilize the luminous flux more efficiently and control the light distribution.
Differences in application areas:
1. The acrylic light guide plate is suitable for LED lighting fixtures with direct light sources, such as grille lights and high-grade aluminum lights.
2. PC diffuser plate is suitable for side light source LED lighting fixtures, such as flat panel lights and professional film viewing lights, usually used in conjunction with light guide plates.
3. The PS diffuser plate is mainly used for some low-grade ordinary LED lights.
