Direct-lit LED backlight emphasizes excellent picture quality

     Companies that use direct-type LED technology believe that direct-type LED technology has significantly more advantages than side-type LED technology in terms of picture control, and in terms of price, the price of side-type LED TVs is generally very high. Compared with the two methods, the direct type has a more perfect image quality performance.

     For example, take a 55-inch LED TV. The direct-type product distributes more than 3,000 LED lights evenly behind the panel, so that the backlight can be evenly transmitted to the entire screen, and the details of the picture look like this. It has to be more delicate and realistic.

     Different from the direct type, the side-entry type is to install more than 400 LED lights on the top of the panel frame, so that the light source can be illuminated from the side. In this way, although the thickness can be minimized, since the number of LED lights has been reduced by nearly 7 times, it is easier to reduce the brightness of the picture in the form of X (that is, the surrounding area is brighter than the center position).

     In addition, the direct-lit LED TV also divides the LED backlight into several cells. When displaying in black, the light of the corresponding LED area will be directly turned off, so that the black can be perfectly expressed. Therefore, companies that adopt direct-lit LED technology believe that the direct-lit LED backlight can present images more accurately, and the color and light-dark contrast effects can also be excellently displayed.
