It is one of the main components of Backlight products and is widely used in A.B.C.D.E.F TYPE products.
2. Classification:
The frame cover is divided into REF and Housing according to its function:
REF
Definition: The non-reflective patch on the composition, the main frame cover to reflect the light is called REF.
Material characteristics and application scope:
(1) PC (1225Y) white (usually used for non-white light products),
(2) Idemitsu URZ2501 (high reflection level) (generally used for white light products)
(3) The appearance is white, because the structure is different due to different specifications, and it is mostly used for A TYPE
HOUSING
Definition: The frame cover that has reflective tapes on the composition and only plays the role of reflecting and encapsulating light from the side. Or the frame cover that does not reflect the light.
Material characteristics and application scope:
(1) PC (Teijin L1225Y) white (generally used for non-white light products)
(2) Idemitsu URZ2501 (high reflection level) (generally used for white light products)
(3) PC (Teijin L1225Y) black
Mostly used on D.E.F TYPE products.
2 Features, material and application scope of light guide plate
1. Features of light guide plate (L/G):
The parts and materials that mainly have the function of spreading and diffusing light support other functional materials. Some are also the main parts and materials for assembling and positioning customer LCDs with customer modules. It is one of the main parts and materials of Backlight products.
2. Material and application range:
(1) PC (Teijin L1225Y) transparent (generally used for non-white light products)
(2) Idemitsu LC1500 (generally used for white light products)
The appearance is transparent, and the structure varies greatly due to different specifications, and is widely used in B.C.D.E.F TYPE products.
3PCB and FPC material, characteristics and application range
Both PCB and FPC are used to support and connect electronic components, and to conduct the circuit and the role of the customer circuit. Composition: glass fiber, copper, silica gel, etc.;
FR-4 (thickness series: 02.0.4, 0.6, 0.8, 1.0, 1.2, 1.6, etc.)
FR-4 has good strength and toughness, thin and thick, widely used in A, B, D TYPE products with light source;
CEM-3 (thickness series: 0.8, 1.0, 1.2, 1.6)
CEM-3 has good workability, but its strength and toughness are poor, and it has no thin profile. Due to the thickness limitation, the application range is limited.
Application range: Mainly used for new light sensors.
Features of PCB
Due to the hard material, it can be connected to various electronic components such as LED, CHIP, LAMP, resistance, stabilized diode, wire, connector and so on. In addition, a PIN can also be connected.
Connection with the main body (frame cover or light guide plate):
It is mostly fixed by structure, and it is rarely fixed with double-sided adhesive. A TYPE is glued with silica gel. When used for light guide plates, the surface is mostly painted with white paint, and when used for sensors, the surface is mostly painted with green paint.
1. Material composition: Polyimide (FEP; Polyester; Epoxy) Film; copper; adhesive;
2. Features: thin thickness; the thinnest can reach 0.067+/-0.03 (single side); because the material is thin, the electronic components soldered on the FPC are also limited, and it cannot solder PIN, connector, LAMP, etc.;
3. Application: Only used for D TYPE products, especially D TYPE products with strict thickness requirements;
4. Connection with the main body (frame cover or light guide plate): Due to its thin thickness, it can be fixed on the light guide plate or frame cover with double-sided tape.;
5. The use of FPC can reduce the structure of the light guide plate or the frame cover more than the use of PCB, and effectively reduce the thickness, but the unit price is higher than that of PCB.
4 Classification and common materials, characteristics and application scope of stickers
There are many types of tapes, and their performances are also different. The following are only the frequently used tapes specifications, which can be roughly divided into the following five categories according to their functions:
1. Reflective patch; 2. Diffusion patch; 3. Brightening patch; 4. Shading and shading reflective patch; 5. Double-sided tape. The following is an explanation of the characteristics, commonly used materials and scope of application of all kinds of stickers:

1. Features of reflective tape:
It has the function of reflecting light and does not contain adhesive. From the appearance, there are two kinds of white and silver;
2. Common materials and scope of use:
(1) E20 series (material is double-sided white)
E20#50( T=0.05mm), E20#75(T=0.075mm), E20#100(T=0.1mm), E20#125(T=0.125mm), E20 #188(T=0.188mm)
It is widely used in the B, C, D, E TYPE of non-white light products and the BEF-free combination of white light products, as well as in F TYPE products.
Reflectance: 93% (550nm)
(2) GR38W T=0.084
Material: one side silver (reflective surface), one side white (non-reflective surface)
Reflectance: 97% (550nm)
(3) 75W05 T=0.08
Material: one side silver (reflective surface), one side white (non-reflective surface)
Reflectance: 97% (550nm), 83% (full light)
(4) GR25D T=0.041
Material: One side is silver (reflective surface), the other is white (non-reflective surface), anti-ultraviolet.
Reflectance: ~94%
(5) ESR T=0.065
Material: double-sided silver
Reflectance: 99% (550nm)
ESR's double-sided silver surface has the same light reflection effect, but because the processing is easy to scratch, one side is protected as a reflective surface
GR38W, 75W05, GR25D and ESR are mostly used in the combination of white light products with BEF, and their common feature is that the combination with BEF can increase the brightness
But among them:
The unit price of ESR is more expensive, and the reflected light effect is the best.
GR25D is used for thinner white light BEF combination products.
In principle, all reflective tapes are prohibited from creases, scratches, foreign objects, etc.
The characteristics of the diffusion patch, the commonly used materials and the scope of use
1. Features of diffusion patch:
It has the function of diffusing light, that is, the light will scatter on the surface. The surface is foggy and translucent. According to the different materials, it can be divided into two types: glue and glue-free.
(1) W5P
Features: T=0.25 (including glue), good diffusion effect, with protective film.
Range of use: mostly used for A TYPE.
(2)W4
Features: T=0.25 (including glue), good diffusion effect, with protective film.
Range of use: Mostly used for digital display backlight panels.
(3) D204, D204P: The only difference is that D204P itself has a protective film, and D204 does not have a protective film.
T=0.1 Double-sided matte surface, no distinction between front and back. The surface is not easy to see scratches.
Range of application: D204P is widely used in products with non-BEF combination brightness requirements which are not very strict.
Spectral transmittance: 83% (660nm)
(4) 100MXE T=0.115 One matte side and the other bright side.
Application range: Used in products with BEF combination, it can effectively increase the degree (for products with less strict thickness requirements.
Total light transmittance: 99%
Atomization degree: 88%
(5) 100SXE T=0.115 One matte side and the other bright side.
Range of use: Used in products without BEF combination, it can effectively increase the degree (for products with less strict thickness requirements...
Total light transmittance: 99
Atomization degree: 89.5%
(6) 50LSE T=0.065, one matte side and the other bright side.
Range of use: Used in products without BEF combination (for products with strict thickness requirements).
Total light transmittance: 97%
Atomization degree: 84% (incident from the bright surface)
Among the diffusion tapes introduced above, except for D204, other diffusion tapes have front and back sides. The attachment method: the fog side up, the bright side down (toward the light guide plate), all diffusion tapes are in principle forbidden to crease , Scratches, foreign objects, etc.
Features of brightening patch, commonly used materials and scope of application
The optical characteristics of the light-enhancing patch: The polarized light in all directions changes its propagation direction to the vertical direction, and the brightest when the human eye looks perpendicular to the surface of the light guide plate. The same, it will not increase) The surface of the brightening patch is striped bright silver. Since its optical properties directly depend on its stripe structure and surface coating, touching or squeezing by hand, scratches will affect it. Its optical properties. Our commonly used glazing patch is from 3M Company, and other supplier’s products have not been approved yet, so it has not been widely adopted.

Features of shading patch, commonly used materials and scope of application
1. The characteristics of shading and light-shielding reflective tape: Generally speaking: the tape used to stick to the upper side of the product light source or the side of the product, the shading tape mainly plays the role of shielding and reflecting light.
2. Common materials:
Except for all E20 series reflective tapes and double-sided tape combinations that can be used as shading tapes, other commonly used shading tapes are as follows:
(1) PO02 (T=0.05 with glue), silver on both sides.
(2) FNS glossy 50 (T=0.07 with glue), silver on both sides.
The above specifications are mostly used in C, D, E, F TYPE.
(3) AS-02PBW12 (T=0.06, double-sided with adhesive), white bottom and black top.
(4) AS-01PBW38 is also called NO.5680 (T=0.085, double-sided with adhesive), white bottom and black top.
AS-02PBW12 and AS-01PBW38 are mostly used in the combination of white light products with BEF.
The characteristics of double-sided adhesive tape, commonly used materials and scope of application
1. Features and scope of application of double-sided adhesive tape:
It has a certain degree of viscosity and can be attached to the surface of the product, or used as a back glue on the edge of the reflective patch and under the light-shielding patch that does not contain glue. It is widely used in various types of products.

5Common light source types and scope of use
Commonly used light sources can be roughly divided into four categories: CHIP, LED, LAMP, CCFL, etc.

1. CHIP class
(1) It is a kind of light source with the most primitive structure
The assembly method with the PCB: It is to be bonded by silver glue, and the positive pole must be connected to the positive pole of the PCB by wire bonding, and it must be protected by dispensing.
(2) Features: Small size, low cost, and the brightness value is relatively low compared with other types of light sources. It is mostly used for A TYPE and B TYPE products, and used for processing into LAMP products.
(3) Common specifications: 511YGBU, 011 series, 012 series, 013 series, 014 series, etc.
2. LED
(1) It is a light source composed of CHIP, resin and white frame packages. The assembly method with PCB or FPC: As long as the solder paste is used to solder back and forth on the PCB;
(2) Features: Larger volume, higher cost, relatively higher brightness value compared with chip-type light sources, mostly used in D TYPE products;
(3) Common specifications: NSCW215T, NSCW100, NSCB100, NSCW335T, HT-191YG-DT011, etc.
3. LAMP category:
(1) It is a kind of light source encapsulated by CHIP, resin and bracket. Assembly method: It can be assembled with PCB, or directly fixed by the structure of light guide plate or frame cover, with relative independence;
(2) Features: Larger volume, higher cost, higher brightness value, and greater shape difference. Mostly used in D TYPE (combined with PCB) or C TYPE (independently mounted on the frame cover or light guide plate);
(3) Commonly used series: 2** series, 3** series, 3Φ series, etc.
4. CCFL cold cathode tube:
It is composed of a glass tube with vacuum-encapsulated gas and fluorescent powder inside. Both ends are led out by wires, and a light source that generates light energy under the excitation of high-frequency alternating current;
(1) Features: high brightness value, largest volume (length), and most expensive.
(2) The electrical characteristic parameters of CCFL: I, Vrms, W, IV, CT, X, Y, hr, etc.
6 Commonly used specification series of other materials
