Key points of customized solution design
1. Scenario-based optical design
Instrument panel backlight:
Adopt direct backlight + regional light control, the brightness of the scale ring and pointer area is ≥200 nit, and the background area is ≤50 nit. With the transflective structure, it reflects ambient light to improve visibility when the sun is directly shining.
Central control screen backlight:
Side-entry backlight + dynamic light perception, support glove operation mode (high brightness + high contrast), and the night mode automatically reduces the brightness to below 30 nit to avoid affecting the driving line of sight.
HUD backlight:
Adopt high-brightness LED (such as Lumileds Luxeon Altilon), combined with optical waveguide technology, the brightness must be ≥10000 nit (the equivalent brightness after projection onto the windshield is ≥2000 nit).

Heat dissipation and structural optimization
Heat dissipation solution:
Direct-type backlight needs to be equipped with a metal heat sink (such as aluminum substrate + thermal conductive silicone), with a thermal resistance of ≤5℃/W, ensuring that the LED junction temperature (Tj) is ≤85℃.
Due to the concentrated power consumption of Mini LED backlight, VC heat spreader or semiconductor refrigeration (TEC) technology needs to be introduced to avoid local overheating and light decay.
Structural integration:
The backlight module is integrated with the LCD panel and touch layer, with a thickness of ≤15mm (central control screen), and the shock resistance is improved through the snap/adhesive process.
3. Intelligent control and interaction
Multi-sensor fusion:
Combined with ambient light sensor (ALS), temperature sensor (NTC), acceleration sensor (detect vehicle bumps), dynamically adjust the backlight parameters.
Human-computer interaction linkage:
Support voice control of backlight brightness (such as "dim the screen"), or linkage with the vehicle system (such as automatically reducing the backlight when switching to night mode).

Customized solution process
Requirement definition: clarify the operating temperature, brightness range, installation space, and certification requirements (such as whether to export to Europe/North America).
Optical simulation: Use TracePro to simulate light distribution, determine the number of LEDs, light guide plate structure, and partitioning scheme.
Sample verification: Make engineering prototypes, test high and low temperature performance, vibration reliability, and EMC compatibility.
Mass production introduction: Optimize the supply chain (such as LED suppliers need to be automotive-grade certified companies) and establish PPAP (production part approval process) documents.
