Bottom Layer (Scratch-Resistant & Abrasion-Resistant): Approximately 2–5 μm in thickness, this layer is primarily composed of silicone and polyurethane resins, supplemented with abrasion-resistant micro-particles.
Middle Layer (PET Substrate): Serving as the core support layer, this component utilizes a 50–188 μm bi-axially oriented optical-grade PET film. With a light transmittance of ≥90% and a thermal shrinkage rate of ≤1.0%, it exhibits high mechanical strength, exceptional dimensional stability, and excellent thermal resistance, thereby serving as the fundamental foundation for the diffusion film's optical performance.
Top Layer (Light Diffusion Layer): This core functional layer is formed by coating a uniform mixture of acrylic/polyurethane binders and diffusion particles-which may be organic (e.g., PMMA, acrylic resins) or inorganic (e.g., silicon dioxide, calcium carbonate). The diffusion particles range in size from 1 to 10 μm; through precise formulation control, this layer achieves highly efficient light scattering while simultaneously maintaining high light transmittance.
